PATIENCE

Author: Pastor Al Pittman
I know for many of you this has been a trying week; I’d like to share with you the words of James. Because like you I often struggle with letting “patience” perfect in me that which is desperately needed, in my life. My exhortation to you is, “don’t pull out of the process,” allow patience, which your trial is producing, complete the work God desires to work in you; that you might be without “lack,” processing the power, love, and endurance, necessary to bring Him glory! God has great things in store for you, and for CWC, in the future. I’m excited to see what our God will do, but I’m not always “thrilled” with the process; however, I welcome it for I see His hand in it, and for His name’s sake. Blessings and peace to you all.

Counting it all “Joy,” Your Chief Servant,
Pastor Al

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him… So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God…But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:2-5, 19, 20, 22
