Do not be seduced by the tasty morsels of “gossip.” We are called to pray.
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:1-2
A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter. Proverbs 11:13
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:7-8
Encourage people to pray and leave it at that. Squelch all hints and signs of gossip. Walk in love!
